 ‘The Sims online’ is based off of the ever popular PC game called ‘The Sims’. Massively multiplayer games have a huge amount of potential, and it seems that game makers are taking advantage of this. They provide a stream of long term profit and they are dominating the gaming market today. The Sims series, which is a traditional single player game, are bought, taken home, and never played again. With Massively multiplayer online games, you won’t even think about putting the game down. There is a monthly fee, but from a business view, MMO games are dominating the gaming industry. |

 The Super Mario Brothers are probably some of the most popular gaming characters around. When the very first Nintendo gaming system came out in the 80’s, it was a giant success for Nintendo. At first, the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) started out slow, with games that weren’t that exciting. People compared the games to the Atari 2600’s games. Finally, Nintendo released the game ‘Super Mario Bros.’. This would be the game that revolutionized the gaming industry. Super Mario became Nintendo’s mascot and became an icon to gaming.
